Materials and finishes

Lacquer

Solid wood frames finished in high-gloss lacquer or in a matte painted finish. Shown in deep burgundy, baby blue and black; other colours on request.

Gold leaf

Carved wings, arrows, figures, medallions and feet are gilded by hand. The surface is leaf, not paint, and each piece takes it slightly differently.

Carving and painting

Relief carving in wood, painted by hand: the hearts of Cuore, the grapevine of Bacchus, the cherubs of Amorini.

Upholstery

Button-tufted silk on Cupid, a silk cushion on Hathor, wine-red velvet on Bacchus and cherry leather on Aquila. The client's own fabric can be used.

Glass and bronze

Ra carries a 12 mm tempered top in frosted amber glass. The two serpents on the arms of Bacchus are bronze.

Marble

The Amorini console has a 30 mm marble top in Bianco Carrara, beige or grey. Veining differs from slab to slab.
