Antique Norwegian Secretary Desk, about 200 years old.
Purchased from a family in Kragerø, Norway, where it had been kept in a private home.
The desk was restored and redesigned in our studio. The goal was to preserve the antique structure while making the piece suitable for everyday use.
Surface and finish
The tabletop is decorated using napkin decoupage with an orange pattern and sealed with liquid glass.
This creates a durable and practical surface.
